The card shows a vast heart-shaped rupture in the jungle. Through that wound, an entire landscape becomes visible: valley, river, horizon, light. If the heart were intact, it would also be opaque. The wound does not merely expose pain. It exposes perspective and reveals the sun itself — the source of illumination. The glowing valley does not exist outside the heart. It appears inside it.

Before belonging in the sky, you have to go through the valley.

THE TALE

GET WOUNDED. DO NOT CLOSE.

Pain must not be allowed to become closure. The danger is not merely being hurt. It is letting hurt determine what the heart will never again permit.

GET LOST

The jungle is not a mistake on the route. It is the route. You cannot truly come back if you have never left. You cannot truly find your way if you have never been lost.

A heart that remains too pure may remain blind: without the wound, we would see neither the landscape nor the sun.

THE WEREWOLVES BECOME TEACHERS

The beasts once associated with fear and persecution become teachers of instinct, conflict, belonging and social intelligence. Wildness is no longer equated with cruelty.

THE RIVER WHERE HE DROWNED

The self that emerges is not restored to what it was before. It has passed through something irreversible.

THE WOUND AS WINDOW

A pristine heart might remain beautiful, but sealed and opaque. Its scars become windows. Experience has created perspective where purity could not.

THE WHOLE DECK RETURNS

Flash of light, call of night, game of love, archangel, utopia, metamorphosis, Thot, curse: the former crises now become parts of one geography. The route was not straight. From here, it forms a landscape.

THE JOURNEY

JUNGLE FOREST VALLEY does not restore the innocence of THE SKY. It earns a different relationship to it. The final movement is not back to the original heaven, but toward a heaven capable of containing everything learned below.

The damage does not merely expose more of the world. It exposes the source of illumination.
